There is no doubt in saying that economic development constitutes the major chunk of progress of a country. Governments think that achieving this is their primary goal; however, some people believe there are advancements which are as important as economic progress.
On the one hand, a country’s economy plays a vital role in their development. As part of such developmental activities, food industries and tourism are promoted. Furthermore, local businesses are encouraged. For instance, regional handlooms and hand-crafted art pieces are boosted for national and international exports. Therefore, the government concentrates and puts forward the aforementioned activities to boost the national income of the country. So to say, governments spend more on ventures which contribute to the gross revenue of the country.
On the contrary, a significant lot of the population proponent the stance of reinforcing other areas of development. The unavailability of some other prominent resources would make the future progression of a country tumble down. For example, the young generation are said to be the future of a nation. Providing them notable employment opportunities is of utmost importance in order to witness the growth of the nation. In addition, eradicating illiteracy and improving healthcare should also be focused on.
In conclusion, it is not only the economic progress that makes a country reach a higher state of development but also many other factors influence the state of the nation. I think, the national economy simply does not determine the overall development. Social and educational growth also play a vital role in the evolution of countries around the world.
