Some people argue that bowing to harsh circumstances such as a dissatisfying job or lack of money is the most effective way to move forward in life, whereas others are of the opinion that a better way is to work towards revamping those drear circumstances. In my opinion, it is better to strive for a successful life.

It is common to see people give in to adversities because they do not accept change. While some changes are for the better, some push a person out of their comfort zone. For instance, many working individuals continue with their jobs no matter how displeasing it becomes, just because it pays them well and saves the extra work of negotiating to get a better job. Besides, this kind of deliberation is prevalent with others in similar situations where some outright admit to being bankrupt but not willing to do anything about it.

On the contrary, many claim that people can construe their awful condition as a challenge and convert it into an opportunity. Some evaluate the situation by weighing out their strengths and outcomes of actions they could take to tackle it. This becomes an opportunity instead of an adversity. A case in point is the success of the famous writer J. K. Rowling who was able to publish a book series after multiple rejections from publishing houses and suffering from poverty. The ability to tackle such condition boosts an individual’s confidence and helps in achieving their goals.

To conclude, at some point life poses some unexpected turn of events. I believe it is best to assess the reality and take appropriate action to meliorate difficult situations rather than plainly accepting them.
