Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing this letter to communicate my disappointment with the waste collection system in our locality of Avenue Garden.

The rubbish collection vehicle arrives twice a week to collect garbage from the bins placed in the neighbourhood. Anyhow, it has come to our attention that the garbage collector has only turned up once in the last two weeks to pick up the trash.

Consequently, there are stacks of waste lying in our houses and they are presenting serious health risks to us. Foul odour oozing out from the waste is nauseating and it is also attracting mosquitoes increasing the chance of spread of diseases.

I sincerely request the council to remediate this issue promptly by scheduling a waste pickup to our area. For a long-term solution, we recommend that a systematic schedule should be in place and additional bins to be placed at the end of each street, to manage waste pick up in a better manner.

I hope you will take appropriate action soon.

Yours faithfully,

Daryl Dixon
