Hope you are doing well. I’m excited to tell you that I got accepted to University of Toronto. Though I feel happy, I’m worried about the living expenses. Since you have been living in Toronto for a year now, I would like to get your advice on finding a part-time job in Toronto.
To begin with, the program is a two-year post-graduation program in computer science. My classes begin in August this year. Although I have a scholarship for the course, it would only cover the course fee. I have researched about the living expenses in Toronto. The rent along with food expenses is likely to be unaffordable for me. Hence, I would need a part-time job to support myself.
If you could help provide a reference for me and recommend local part-time jobs, it will be helpful. I’m willing to be a waitress, work at a gas station or as a security guard. As you are well connected; can you enquire for me if there are any open positions?
