There are many companies in my town that offer some good work opportunities for people living here. Besides, often people start their own businesses; be it large or small, thereby creating a plethora of jobs for others. There are numerous organisations that employ thousands of people, but here I would like to talk about a company that has been employing people for years and is one of the most successful organisations in my hometown.
The company is a car service company called GLD Motors, which started as a service-based company and developed into a product creation company producing electric vehicles and remodelled cars. When it was first established, they had only 10 people working for them. In due course, they opened branches all over the city and nearby towns as well, employing local people. Now the company employs a whopping number of 10000 people.
The majority of people working there come from an engineering background especially, mechanical engineering. In addition, there is a management and HR department where management graduates work. Also, there are customer support staff who help with queries from consumers.
The company provides multiple job opportunities to young people every year by conducting job fares. It is one of the most distinguished and inspirational companies I have come across. I feel proud that my hometown produced such a good company and I am grateful to have had the chance to work for it for a brief period.

Part 3 Follow Up - Questions & Answers
1. Is it easy to find a job in India?
In today’s competitive era, it is tough to find a job anywhere in the world including India. People need to have certain educational qualifications and have relevant experience to first land an interview with a company they want to work for. Furthermore, they should be very skilled and knowledgeable in their domain to be able to find work.
2. What should the government do if there is unemployment?
I think the government should conduct job fares and invite companies to hire people with talents when there is unemployment. In addition, they should come up with policies that create jobs which would be helpful for unemployed people. Also, they should encourage people to take up jobs without judging.
3. Is a high salary important?
It depends on the individual. Some people consider a high salary to be vital because it acts as a motivation to work hard and become better. Some others work for satisfaction and just to have something to do. So, even an average pay is looked at as a satisfying amount by them because job satisfaction is the most important thing to them.
4. Is it ok to do a job you like with a low salary?
Yes, but as stated earlier, it depends on the person. Some people take up lower-salary jobs because they want just job satisfaction. On the other hand, freshers want experience to be able to get better jobs so even if the pay is lower, they adjust and accept the job to kick-start their career.
