I always plan my activities and try to achieve them according to the plan and this helps me to complete things on time without postponing them. I think planning is essential in everyone’s life. I would like to describe a plan which is not related to my work or study that I made long back. I am a traveller and I like to explore new places every year. I travel 3 times a year. I planned to go to ‘Bhutan’ before the lockdown was imposed.

Because of the pandemic, I am unable to travel and got stuck in my home. When I was a kid, I heard lots about ‘Bhutan’ and always dreamt of visiting that country. Bhutan is a unique country both culturally and environmentally and the capital of Bhutan is Thimphu. The picturesque country of Bhutan is home to some spectacular landmarks such as Haa Valley, Tiger’s Nest, Mo Chu River, Buddha Dordenma and so on. Bhutan has continually been ranked as the happiest country in all of Asia, and the eighth happiest country in the world according to Business Week.

All tourists must obtain a visa before arriving in Bhutan and tourists should book their travel through a local licensed tour operator. Visa clearance takes no longer than 72 hours. To reach Bhutan, you need to book a flight and Paro International Airport is the only entry point to Bhutan by air. This airport is particularly dangerous due to its location in a deep valley which is surrounded by mountain peaks high as 5000 metres.

I can say it is not only a plan; it is also a dream for me to visit Bhutan. I get a chance to meet local people over there and understand their culture and traditions. It will be completely a new experience. As it is the oldest country, I can also learn about the architecture and infrastructure of the country and enjoy some adventurous trips. I would feel happy and lucky if this plan would become successful.
