Describe a creative person whose work you admire
  • Who he/she is?

  • How do you know him/her?

  • What creative things he/she has done?

  • And explain why you think he or she is creative

I admire the works of many creative people like singers, song writers, dancers and painters who each have a unique skill and unparalleled talent in their art but one particular artist who has appealed to me the most with his stupendous singing and song writing abilities is Anthony Lazaro. He is an acoustic, jazz singer from Italy who also writes melodious songs that have a cool vibe to them.

I regularly listen to radio and watch music channels that promote budding artists extremely. He was one of the musicians I started following after discovering him on a music channel called MTV. I have been a fan of his music since 2019 when I first listened to his acclaimed song ‘Coffee cup’.

He writes songs that tell a story which makes a person smile. For instance, the song Coffee Cup is a song about how a couple fatefully meet when a barista mixes up their coffee cups. There are many such songs from him which remind me of some real-life experiences and putting together a song that infuses a heartfelt feeling, I think, is very creative. His music is soulful with real life experiences pieced together into lyrics that touch the hearts of millions of people of diverse age groups and backgrounds. His splendid vocals, song writing abilities and composing make him an admirable singer.

I love his work because of the astounding lyrics and composition using a mix of jazz and acoustic instruments which is ingenious. His songs make me imaginative and let me create a fantastical world which makes the listening experience unforgettable. Some songs bring back happy memories making me reminisce about old times.

Yes, I think I have a creative side in me but I don’t really show it off to others. I read a lot of books and often write poetry and short stories. However, mostly, I’m the only person who gets to read and enjoy them as I’m shy about letting others see my work. Besides, I sometimes experiment with fashion to bring out a unique style and I let my sister take notes on this.

2. Is it good for children to learn arts?

Absolutely, I believe it is great for kids to learn arts. It helps them develop a creative skill and look at things in an imaginative way. Arts are also a way of teaching kids about their traditions which lets them learn more about their culture.

Definitely, I believe leaders should possess creative skills in order to drive their team down a visionary and productive path. It is a perfect representation of leading by example.
