Describe a large company that you are interested in
  • Which company is it?

  • What it is like (what kind of business it does)?

  • How you know about it?

  • Why do you have interest in this company?

There are numerous large companies in this world that have a huge brand name generating billions of revenue. Although there are a few of them that I am interested in, Google peculiarly catches my undivided attention. It has essentially become a part of everyone’s daily routine where they need to use one of their products to go about.

Google is a multinational technology company that provides various products and services including cloud computing, search engine, mobile phones and advertising technology. It is considered one of the biggest companies in the information technology world. It started off as a search engine, however quickly picked up pace by variegating the products it offered and acquiring some major service-based companies.

Initially, I used only used Google to visit websites and download music but soon realised there are other products that can make everything I do much simpler. It offers remarkable services such as Google meet for online meetings, Google drive for storage, Google maps which I use almost daily to navigate and so on. Besides, the advanced technology implemented in their designs of their phones and home speakers are splendid.

I would like to work in a place where there is constant innovation and development which Google precisely has. In addition, it has a great workplace environment with benefits helping an individual reach their goals. It has fantastic upskilling options and infinite knowledge repositories which I consider are crucial for any company that values their employees.
