Being clever saves people from a lot of difficult situations in life. I’m not that smart but I have a few friends are who extremely smart and help me in tough situations. Here, I would like to talk about a friend who solved my problem in an intelligent way.

My friend Jane has always been sharp-witted who does things in a much smarter way than others. We went to college together and during our exams, she used to come up with ways using which we could complete learning in hours. Last month, a friend of ours was getting married and we were all invited. We reached the wedding venue a day prior with everything packed including gifts.

However, I was harrowed when I realised that I had forgotten to bring a matching blouse for my saree. Unfortunately, none of the others had anything that would fit me. Then came Jane with her magic mind and went through all of my clothes. She picked up a black crop top that I had, made some alterations to it and styled it to look like a modern blouse to match with my saree.

I was looking absolutely gorgeous and the blouse she styled really turned to give a modern chic and Indo-western look. I was in awe of her astute thinking while I was just upset about my outfit. It’s great having a friend like her who can solve a problem with no effort in any situation.

I think it’s both. Some kids are innately talented and smart since birth while others acquire talents as they grow up. But, in my view, smartness comes naturally without having to put out much effort.

2. How do children become smart at school?

Kids become smart at school by learning various subjects, participating in competitions where they can showcase their skills and also learn. They also improve by interacting with other kids in their school and by playing brain training games like Sudoku, chess etc.

3. Why are some people well-rounded and others only good at one thing?

I believe some people are more curious about things around them and show interest in learning more about them becoming well-rounded. On the other hand, some people just concentrate on becoming an expert at one thing by gaining knowledge about it. Also, some people are just not interested in getting to know more than one thing.

4. Why does modern society need talent of all kinds?

One person cannot be the master of everything making modern society demand the availability of people with different talents. To have a diverse society we need people with a variety of talents to do jobs of various kinds.
