Describe a photograph in your home
  • what is in the photo?

  • where is this photo in your home?

  • how was this picture taken?

  • and what this photo means to you.

I consider photographs to be moments captured. I see photographs as memories captured in a film and I love clicking some whenever I go out. One of the most wonderful photographs I have in my home is a photo of my brother and me which my mother clicked on my fifteenth birthday which I framed and put up on a wall in my bedroom. My family and I visited Jaisalmer Fort that day which is a world heritage site where my mom shot many beautiful photos. I remember I wore a golden yellow dress so that my photos look stunning.

She clicked many photos in the fort and outside of it but my favourite one is the wide-angle shot she had taken of me and my brother standing beside two pillars on the corners of the Fort, using a digital camera. We had carried a stand with us and my mom set it up at a distance in front of the Fort to get a wide-angle photo with the surroundings blurred so as to highlight the alluring beauty of the location. Incidentally, my brother made a funny face just as the photo got clicked and that made us burst out in laughter. It was a phenomenal shot as his face just made it funny but memorable all the same.

To this day, I laugh at the photograph when showing it someone. I felt his expression made the picture look natural as it turned out to be splendid. I had also taken some polaroid pictures for my mom and some selfies for myself; however, that photograph is the only one that I framed.
