Describe a polite person whom you know
  • Who the person is?

  • How you know the person?

  • What he/she looks like?

  • And explain why you think he/she is polite

I have come across a lot of people in my life, who are polite and are an inspiration to many. Politeness is a most cherished quality and it’s quite hard to come by. So, here I would like to speak about a person who has never failed to be polite in her entire life and she is none other than my mother. Ever since my childhood I have admired her for her politeness.

Speaking of her appearance, she is fair and is of a medium built. She wears her hair in a small bun and is always attired in a saree. I feel she is an epitome of grace whenever I see her dressed elegantly in a saree. I consider my mother a polite person because she never speaks too loudly with others as well as listens to other people very carefully. I am fortunate to have her as my mother. It is her politeness that brings her a good reputation in society. Here, I would like to narrate one incident, and it happened a couple of months ago. She is an entrepreneur and has to interact with many clients regularly. Recently, I witnessed a lady yelling at my mother in her office, when I happened to visit her. I was stunned when I saw my mother didn’t utter a word but asked her to calm down softly and offered her a glass of water. She then patiently wrote down her grievance and assured her that she herself would solve her issues by the end of that day.

She believes that if we want to earn love and respect then we must first learn to give love and respect. I admire her for her virtues and try to be like her in everything that I do.
