Describe someone older than you, whom you admire
  • Who this person is?

  • How you know this person?

  • What kind of things you like to do together?

  • Explain how you feel about this person/ why you admire him/her

Many people have inspired me in my life, but the person I admire the most is my mother. She is a strong woman who held me close and safe even in the most difficult times. Not only is she a great parent but also a remarkable teacher.

She teaches science to high school students and has conducted many workshops to demonstrate the use of eco-friendly products in our daily lives. In addition, she believes in reuse and recycling methods; she makes flowerpots out of used bottles and grows plants in them.

She is a kind-hearted lady who always lends a helping hand to anyone in need. I help her conduct scholarship drives to help students who cannot afford tuition fees which I find inspiring. Together, we also spread awareness about eco-friendly products that people can use in their homes. I share all of my woes with her as she has a jovial nature and always tries to understand a situation from my perspective instead of jumping to conclusions. This has helped me not to lie about anything in general and to be upfront about my thoughts and feelings.

Although we sometimes have disagreements, we have an undying bond that connects us. I have learned to be compassionate and patient because of my mother and I am proud to have such an inspiring woman in my life. I aspire to be independent and have my own identity as she does.
