I admire the works of many singers who each have a unique skill and unparalleled talent for music but one particular singer who has appealed to me the most with his stupendous singing abilities is Ed Sheeran. I regularly listen to radio and watch music channels that promote budding artists extremely. He was one of the musicians I started following after discovering him on a music channel called VH1. I have been a fan of his music since 2013 when I first listened to his globally acclaimed song ‘The A team’. 

He is from the United Kingdom and started out as a theatre artist. He is now renowned singer across the world for over a decade. He is a virtuoso with skills in song writing and playing multiple musical instruments including guitar, piano, and drums. He mostly produces music of pop, soft rock and R&B genre and has received several accolades including Grammy awards. 

His music is soulful with real life experiences pieced together into lyrics that touch the hearts of millions of people of diverse age groups and backgrounds. His splendid vocals, song writing abilities and composing make him an admirable singer. 

I love his songs because of the astounding lyrics and composition using a mix of eastern and western music instruments. I travel to a fantastical world whenever I listen to his songs which makes the listening experience unforgettable. Some songs bring back happy memories making me reminisce old times. He is one the finest artists in recent times and will go on to be a legendary singer in the future.

1. Do singers play an important role in your country?

Yes, singers are an integral part of our country contributing to our culture and music with their talent. Music industry is huge in India with thousands of artists showcasing their abilities on various platforms. Singers as much appreciated as other movie and sports personalities in India.

2. Do you think celebrities have a lot of income?

I believe celebrities have a significant amount of earnings given the number of performances and brand representations they take up. This is only possible because they work hard to get to this position and diversify their art to appeal to a variety of audience.

3. In your country, people prefer to listen to traditional music or foreign music?

In India, people like listening to a variety of music. Some, especially people from the older generation like and encourage traditional music, while others listen to modern music. It all comes down to individual preferences and tastes to decide which kind of music to listen to.

4. Do you prefer to live performances?

I consider attending concerts where artists perform live produces immense enjoyment and a kind of relaxation for an individual. Live performances not only become a venue to see our favourite musicians perform but are also a way to socialise with others.
